Description:

Monitor Cisco Router CPU and Memory via SNMP v2. Reads in OID’s for CPU and memory statistics and calculates free memory.

Supported Monitoring Stations:7.x, 6.0
Supported Agents:None; no agent required
Installation Notes:
  • Uptime 7.3 and later install via the Extension Manager.
  • See below for additional install steps on Uptime 7.2 and earlier

  • Download the correct zip file depending on the operating system the monitoring station is running on (Windows or Linux/Solaris).
  • Place the zip file in the uptime base directory
  • (if on Windows) Open a command window (Start > Run > cmd) and go to the uptime directory
  • Run the following command from the uptime directory:

    ./scripts/loadpluginmonitor FileName.zip

That’s it; the monitor should now be loaded. You can go to the Uptime UI and add the new service monitor.
